About The Lab

The auditory lab is a new research lab located within the Department of Physiology. It is presently equipped with a number of auditory research equipment and there are on-going research collaborations with both local and international researchers. 

Current research areas include:

• Role of auditory efferents in hearing
• Risk and prevention of hearing loss
• Mechanism of auditory attention
• Somatosensory modulation of tinnitus
• Low-cost audiometry
• Auditory frequency selectivity
